Ghoulish Kisses

For a girl who'd just lost a loved one, she sure was strong. She'd waited until they made it back to Megaton before she'd finally cracked. When she began to cry, the kid had walked up to him, looking for support. Charon had no idea what to do with her being so close to him. People skills were something he'd always lacked, but he knew she needed the comfort. He wasn't sure how to hug, so instead he let his lips fall gently to the top of her head (damn she was short) and kept his eyes ahead, always alert for danger.
